Ah. Makes sense to me! Thanks! Ever since I spent 4 weeks at Saab assisting the build of the Viggen in the late 80's, I've been fascinated by aircraft building. Why nuts and bolts at the end of the spar attachment edges instead of rivets? /Jens
ReplyDeleteprobably because the spar is so thick in this places that it will steal to much energy from the rivet gun to make riveting easy
