Tail cover in place again

The tail cover plate with it´s new EXPERIMENTAL sign is in place again. More import is that behind the cover, there is a fully installed pitch servo.

None of the servos have their wiring done. I have not decided on how to do the can-bus connection. One alternative I am thinking about is to have one end of the chain start at the pitch servo i the tail, going to the Magnetometer in the left wing, from there to all the LRUs in the panel and then ending at the roll servo in the right wing. Another is to keep one end being at the Magnetometer, going to the panel LRUs, from there to the roll servo and from there to the pitch servo.

Done with section 32

Did the final rivets in chapter 32, the bag with LP4-3 was almost full before this section, now it is close to empty :)

The last sentence is something like "Now is a good time to paint the interior" Feels great to have that step completed already!

Managed to squeeze all of them, tight but possible

A wedge shim together with a grinded down manual squeezer worked for this and the one on the other side. This is what is great with having some really cheap tools, no hesitation to modify them when needed, even in a destructive way

Some touching up and I could call the interior painting as done

4 tricky rivets, but the no hole yoke with the no hole part on the factory heads made it easy

Started putting some AN426 rivets in and 8 out of 28 nutplates.

The pneumatic pop rivet riveter has earned it´s cost in today's session alone.

Luggage floors in place

Riveted some nut plates, made some dimples. Got a tip to attach some snap bushings before placing the luggage floors in place.

Primed and painted the luggage floors

Last night and this morning, I scuffed, primed and painted the luggage floors.

32, controller visit

Showed my controller all the things that has been made since the last visit, started talked about when and where the final assembly and first test flight will take place and discussed some fiberglass work on fairings and other places that I could really use his help with.

The actual work today consisted of creating seat back hinges and dimpling the luggage floor panels.
