36 or 39 rivets left on the last wing skin
One more session with some assistance from my wife and the wing skins will be done :)

Started riveting the last wing skin tonight.

Left bottom wing skin is done
Done with the left wing skin. Realized that even if I stick with the plans, there are some nutplates to be riveted so still some rivets to do on the left wing.
22 rivets left on the left wing?
Unless I modify and use a hinge instead of screws for the wing tip attachment, the picture below might show the last 22 rivets to be done on the left wing, great session last night. :D
It is possible to do them alone but that would mean holding the rivet gun far out in my left hand... will probably get my wife to help with them this evening.

Pitot mast attachment
I had planned to (might later) post a little movie of this evenings session. For unknown reason the picture transfer to my PC is taking forever.
I riveted most of the remaining rivets on the skin and riveted the pitot mast attachment.

More outer bottom wing skin
Had hoped to go flying in our Cozy classic and try out our new Garmin G5 that was recently installed in it. But the TAFs for both sat and sunday talked about clouds well below 1000feet and even freezing fog.
This afternoon I got a few hours while my wife took the kids and visited her sister.
The left outer skin is now more than 50% done :)

Outer bottom wing skin continues
Finally some real work on the kit again. I had high ambitions, that we would be able to rivet all off the wing skin rivets that I need assistance with but our hands got to tired it will be at least one more session.
Two of the old rivets and two of tonight's rivets needed to be redone.

Controller visit and started on the outer bottom wing skin
First my controller came over for a final view before it will be more difficult to look inside the wings. We also checked out our new toy, a Garmin G5 that will be put into our CozyIII. I might buy and use this great lite instrument as my primary EFIS in the RV14 until I can afford a G3X or similar.
Tonight I got rid of some blue plastic and riveted the nutplates on one bottom outer wing skin.

Bottom inner wing skins done
set the last few rivets and riveted all the nutplates. Cant think of any reason to not rivet the nutplates for the cover plates before attaching the skin to the wing so that will happen on the outer bottom skins.

Right inner bottom wing skin
Looks like my old Canon 60D has given up :( Another session last night, the lower inner right wings skin is almost in place.
11/10/16
Left bottom inner skin in place
Done two sessions lately, first I forgot the memory card, today the battery was dead. I have on picture from the phone:
Apart from nut plates and where the outer skin shares holes, the inner left bottom skin is done.

Bottom wing skin session 2
Continued with the inner bottom wing skins. Around 10 driven and maybe 50 placed and taped in preparation for riveting. I removed one Aileron rod as it would be almost impossibe to do all rivets with it in place.

Started to rivet the bottom skins
My parents and wife gave me a great birthday present: looking after the kids and helping me to rivet the bottom skins. Lots done today :)

Setting up for riveting the bottom skin.
The suggested 3-3.5 rivets are a little short but should still meet mil-spec when riveted so I will go with them instead if the "perfect lenght" 3-4.
I will need assistance to rivet the top rows.

A short session
Had planned to work for longer but I used some aerosol primer and the smell was just to much for me so I made it into a short session.
